Service Description

Have you ever been curious about prayer beads or how to use a mala? In this workshop you will learn how to use a mala, how to select a mala and how to select an affirmation or mantra to use with the mala. You will have the opportunity to feel, touch and practice with different kinds of beads including tulsi, sphatik (crystal), haldi (turmeric), chandan (sandalwood), kamal latte (lotus seed), rudraksha, acacia and Balinese plantation wood. You will find yourself connecting to the frequency of a seed, wood or crystal intuitively. Repeating an affirmation with a mala is a natural transition to a meditation practice or it can be a practice unto itself, which will bring peace and clarity to your day. You will be guided to words or sounds that resonate with the frequency of an issue you are navigating. This workshop is suitable for anyone looking to bring stillness to the mind and heart. It is a non-denominational, universal spiritual practice that crosses languages, cultures and faiths. The price of the workshop includes making a rudraksha mala and up to 6 participants. If you are interested in a different seed or bead, please contact Sadhana for pricing. Travel time may be extra.
